Trident is promoted as a chewing gum that strengthens and promotes dental health. Its name was fashioned after the types of enzymes that it contains, which are said to soften dental tartar. It comes in a variety of flavours, typically in individually wrapped sticks of gum. Some versions of the gum resemble hard squares with juicy liquid inside of them.
